Welcome onboard, on a wonderful Delhi Sightseeing Tour with us! Today, we start your tour from your hotel at 08:00 am by picking up by our driver. Thereafter, you will enjoy a full day trip and explore the very famous heritage monuments, temples and shopping options.
What to visit
- Red Fort: The Red Fort, a fort in old Delhi that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. Red Fort is a representation of the cultural, political and architectural majesty of the Mughals in Indian history.
- Jama Masjid: Towering over Old Delhi, the largest mosque in India stands as a reminder of the Mughal architecture. This magnificent building showcases the beauty of Mughal workmanship with four watchtowers and two 40m high minarets.
- Raj Ghat: Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India. Located on the west bank of the river Yamuna, Raj Ghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhi "India's Father of the Nation" was cremated after his assassination.
- Humayun's Tomb: Inspirational architecture of its time, the design and layout has inspired many similar structures. The Humayun’s Tomb was the first architectural construction built during Akbar's reign in the memory of Humayun, by his Persian widow, Haji Begum.
- Lotus Temple: The prominent attraction in the city notable for its flowerlike shape building. This unique architectural marvel is made of 27 free standing marble-clad petals arranged in bunch of three to form nine sides with nine doors opening onto a central hall.
- Qutub Minar: A 73-metre tall victory tower built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. This beautiful five storied Indo-Islamic structure is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest minarets in the world. Its design has been based on the Afghanistan’s Minaret of Jam.
- Laxmi Narayan Temple: The Laxmi Narayan Temple or Birla Mandir is a landmark and prime location of Hindu mythology in New Delhi. This three-storey huge temple was built in the early 1900s and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in the 1930s.
- India Gate: A 42m high war memorial arch located astride Rajpath was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The memorial gate was built in the memory of soldiers who sacrifice their life in First World War in France and the Third Anglo-Afghan War.
