What To Expect
Welcome to a wonderful journey with us to one of the most happening cities of India. Today at 08:00 am you will be picked up by our driver from your Delhi’s hotel and start exploring the heritage corridor of Delhi with multiple shopping and dine options.
What To Visit
- Red Fort: The historical fort in Delhi that served as the residence of the Mughal Emperors, when Mughal capital shifted from Agra to Delhi. Construction of the Red Fort is commissioned on 12 May 1638 by Emperor Shah Jahan.
- Humayun's Tomb: The first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent. The Humayun’s Tomb was commissioned by Humayun's chief wife, Empress Hamida Banu Begum in 1558 and designed by Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad.
- Lodhi Garden: A sprawling park situated on Lodi Road New Delhi, houses many architectural wonders of the 15th century made by Lodis such as Mohammed Shah's Tomb, the Tomb of Sikandar Lodi, the Shisha Gumbad and the Bara Gumbad.
- Jantar Mantar: The solar observatory in New Delhi was constructed in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh second of Jaipur. Jantar Mantar is a phenomenal piece of architecture in the form of a sundial which doesn’t fail to impress even in this age.
- Qutub Minar: A 73 meter high victory tower in Qutub complex New Delhi made by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1192. Qutub Minar is a symbol of the synthesis of traditional Islamic architecture and Southwestern Asian design.
- Safdarjung Tomb: A sandstone and marble mausoleum was built in 1754 for Nawab Safdarjung. The mausoleum boasts of a tranquil ambience and a majestic presence owing to its enormous dome, elaborate arches and intricate architecture.
- Agrasen ki Baoli: A 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well in New Delhi. Agrasen ki Baoli, is an ancient water reservoir which rises from the depths of the earth to stand atop 103 stone steps.
After Excursion
After a fun-filled Delhi Sightseeing Tour, drive back to your hotel or our driver will drop you at Delhi's airport or railway station for your onward journey. Henceforth our services terminate.
